The first ISA conference took place in Barnaul.
The first Innovation Support Association conference, which of the founders Enterra is, was held on 29 October in Barnaul. Innovation Support Association is the non-profit organization of IT-entrepreneurs, aimed to create the conditions for innovative companies in the region.
The main topics of the conference were innovations and ventures. That's why we discussed such issues which can help to create and develop your own high-tech startup:
- Team building;
- Basic metrics for business management;
- Russian investment startup support.
These issues were highlighted during the experts' workshops. Among experts, there were the leaders of the major Russian IT-companies and representatives of the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IDDF), the partner of the ISA.
Besides that, several entrepreneurs from Barnaul have introduced six existing start-ups projects to experts and conference visitors; they all have received the expert feedback and recommendations.
"Nowadays we observe the frustrating situation: talented young people after graduation have to leave Barnaul because they cannot find a good and interesting occupation here. The main reason is a lack of IT development. If we want people to have a good job here, we need to establish as more high-tech companies as possible. It is our main purpose", says Enterra Inc CEO Dmitry Starostenkov.
The ISA is exact that tool, designed through different educational events (workshops, conferences, hackathons, crash tests and meetings) to grow up the new generation of IT- entrepreneurs.
